It was a delight to have the opportunity to meet and photograph such a close, happy family.  Charles, Ellie’s older brother, was the MC for the evening festivities and he too did a great job, talking about his sister, his family and introducing the speakers for the evening.  And what a party!  From the great speeches to the dancing and beautiful decor and a very touching candle lighting ceremony.  It was a real pleasure.  Well done Ellie and congratulations to all.

I am finding it hard to stay at my computer when it’s so lovely out.  Being out on location taking photographs is what I have been doing, capturing the early spring light sparkling in the melting snow.

Watching the ice break up on Lake Huron is a photographers dream and being on the beach feels so nice.  Summer is on it’s way.

I am so use to photographing other peoples family gatherings that it was a real treat to be able to capture so many photographs of my own extending family.  Many generations were there from new babies to toodlers, children, teens, and we grown ups of all ages.  A good time was had by all and it was great to wander around and take candid shots of everyone.  Happy Birthday Uncle Dave!!!

Saugeen Shores

Welcome to my brand new web site and very first blog.  Please bear with me.

Let me introduce myself. I have been a Toronto based fine art,
portrait and wedding photographer for the last 17 years. I have
recently moved to Port Elgin Ontario on the shores of Lake Huron in
the beautiful region of Bruce County, Saugeen Shores.

The focus of my business is black & white studio photography,
specializing mainly in children, families, head shots and
weddings. In the galleries you will also see some examples of my
custom tinted portrait prints.
